Future, people and AI - July 2023
From being able to successfully navigate a car without our input to detecting diseases at a quicker rate, the potential for AI is limitless! It can help immensely in the workplace, where AI can do repetitive tasks to a much higher degree of speed and accuracy, leaving one to focus on what's important. This is where we step in!
We invited specialist speakers Dhiraj Mukherjee, Spencer Kelly and Inma Martinez to talk about their knowledge and expertise on this incredible subject, so you can understand the technology behind AI and implement them effectively into your methods. What's more, Georgie Barrat hosted the event!

Master Resilience and Step Up your Leadership Game - February 2023
In an ever-evolving environment, the event leaders who capitalise on upcoming business opportunities will be those who embrace change and adapt their strategies to help their teams thrive.
For our first Knowledge Guild of 2023, we shone a spotlight on three inspirational leaders from different industries, with a fantastic host for the evening. Hosted by the incredible Julia Bradbury, our shining line-up of CEO Timothy Armoo, social media superstar Milly Pickles, and out of this world Astronaut Tim Peake all gave fantastic talks, sharing their varied experiences and knowledge on leadership and resilience.
Although from varied industries, they all share a commonality: they learned along the way and developed their skills, but most importantly, they never underestimated the power of resilience, communication and teamwork to become the exceptional leaders they are today.

Leadership under Pressure: Seizing the Moment Personally and Professionally - July 2022
After two years in lockdown, we were excited to reintroduce the Knowledge Guild in collaboration with The Brewery on the topic of Leadership under Pressure. We handpicked a speaker line-up designed to genuinely inspire our audiences to seize the moment personally and professionally.
Hosted by Formula One motor racing expert and broadcaster Mark Gallagher, we were joined by Sarah Furness, Amar Latif, and David Coulthard. The diversity of speakers talking about leadership under pressure made it a fantastic masterclass on how to control ourselves in extreme situations under pressure.

Social change is influencing every aspect of our world. Politics, equality, the workplace, the environment, brand interaction and customer transactions. We find the best designers are those who making the world a better place with work that prioritizes people over products. Millennials and Generation Z are challenging all of us in entirely new ways with a pervasive hunger for purpose.
Our summer 2018 Knowledge Guild arrived at a pivotal time for social change and we were thrilled to be joined with our audience for an evening of fascinating discussions and insights exploring generational differences and how the rule book is changing.

Offering the antidote to creative block, we had the likes of Jo Malone of Jo Loves, Dan Germain of innocent, Rafe Offer of Sofar Sounds, Kate Ancketill of GDR Creative Intelligence, and Holly Tucker of notonthehighstreet.com share the secrets behind their brands, large and small. With the witty and energetic Jeremy Vine hosting, it was an insightful night to remember!
Let's Talk: It's Time To Look After You

Finding time for mindfulness in this chaotic modern world has never been easy, but in an effort to promote positivity and mental resilience, the second Knowledge Guild of 2017 brought together some of the leading voices in mental health to share their stories, expertise and practical tips on the topic, we can begin to break down the stigma and finally make time to look after you.
Hosted by broadcaster Joanna Gosling, we were in awe, and sometimes tears, as our speakers revealed their experiences and advice around this important topic - former footballer Clarke Carlisle, Telegraph columnist and author Bryony Gordon, and sleep expert Dr. Nerina Ramlakhan.

What A Difference A Year Makes
November 2016
In a nod to the tumultuous nature of 2016, our November Knowledge Guild summed up an interesting series of events - from major political decisions to the Rio 2016 Olympics - and provided a look to what lies ahead as a result.
One BBC Sport's most experienced presenters, Hazel Irvine both hosted the evening and gave a fascinating insight into the behind-the-scenes of Rio 2016. Meanwhile, business leader Kevin Gaskell talked us through the implications of Brexit for business owners; politician Douglas Alexander discussed the impact of decisions within both international and domestic politics; and futurist speaker Richard Watson explained how companies can explore emerging growth opportunities and plan ahead effectively by thinking through scenarios.

With Speakers Corner and The Brewery teaming up once again on June 13th 2016, our summer Knowledge Guild brought together the biggest names in the digital space to discuss the latest in data, design and disruption.
Digital Journalist of the Year Emma Barnett hosted a brilliant night of stimulating chat and thought-provoking speeches. We called to the stage the former MD of Google UK, Dan Cobley; the Creative Lab Technologist at Ogilvy Labs, Gemma Milne; and an award winning TV journalist from the Channel 4 team, Geoff White, to look beyond the corporate structures and illuminate what the latest disruptive technologies had in store for us - from the brightest innovations to cybercrime behaviour!

On 29th September 2015, we delved into technology - the methods, processes, goods and services integral to our lives!
We were delighted to welcome former TV Dragon Piers Linney; broadcast journalist Misha Glenny; and web psychologist Nathalie Nahai to the podium. Their thoughts, lessons and wisdom were brought together by host Kate Russell, a tech reporter appears weekly on BBC2 and BBC World News, reporting for technology show Click.
A new year, a fresh start... we decided to make our Knowledge Guild on February 22nd all about motivation for 2016!
We assembled three brilliant speakers to inspire our audience: extreme swimmer and ocean advocate, Lewis Pugh; Rugby coaching legend, Sir Clive Woodward; and the youngest British woman to climb Everest, Bonita Norris. Our host this time was ITV's Mark Durdan-Smith who did a great job facilitating discussion and asking the serious, and not-so-serious, questions.

When the Speakers Corner team arrived at The Brewery on 24th February 2015 kitted out in party gear, it meant one thing – The Knowledge Guild was back!
A unique and fascinating event built on trust, it brought together a handful of our most authentic and authoritative speakers – economist Andrew Scott, presenter Gavin Esler, politician Tessa Jowell, and Head of Investment Strategy, Television Broadcaster, Board Director & Quantum Physicist, Gemma Godfrey.
Our Knowledge Guild on September 9th 2014 saw us go for a for a sporting theme, with a particular look at the Olympic legacy.
Facilitated by the erudite and glamorous Fiona Bruce, it was bound to be a great evening, with speakers John Steele, the CEO of Youth Sport; sports journalist David Walsh, known for ousting Lance Armstrong as a cheat; and Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, a Paralympian Gold Medallist, all behind the lectern!
Innovation in the 21st Century - Sept 2013
The very first Knowledge Guild, our event on September 11th 2013 was an outstanding evening of scintillating chat about innovation in the 21st century.
We were overwhelmed by the incredible response of guests to our speakers: Leonard Brody. a Harvard graduate and two-time Emmy-nominated speaker; Alex Hunter, a company incubator and branding expert; and Shaa Wasmund, the founder of Smarta. Leading broadcaster and journalist Kate Silverton facilitated the speaking rota, providing value and insight that set a great precedent for things to come!
